She received both a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and a Master of Health Education from Russell Sage College. She began her teaching career with the Albany Diocese working in Rensselaer at St. Joseph’s and at St. John’s. She joined the St. Jude family part time in 1986 as the Physical Education teacher. Her role at St. Jude has changed over the years with health class added and then coming on board full time and adding the role of librarian. She is also involved with the C.A.S.E. program, the after school program offered here at St. Jude’s. “The St. Jude the Apostle community is a very special one and I feel fortunate to be able to work with the students and families that are part of it.”
In her spare time, you can find Miss Larkin enjoying the outdoors gardening, camping, walking, and any activity that gives her an excuse to be able to stay outside! Reading, baking, jam making, listening to music and spending time with family and friends are some other activities that she enjoys.
