Graduations for Pre-K, Kindergarten and Grade 6 – “We are in the process of planning graduation events for the Pre-K, Kindergarten and 6th grade students.”
Graduation Dates and Times REVISED:
6/19 – PreK –Dunham and Ruso – 11am Freyssinier- 12:30pm
6/19 – Kindergarten – 2pm
6/22 – 6th grade – 7pm
More detailed info will be forthcoming from your child’s teacher.
Tuition/Graduation/School Records – In order to participate in our graduations or have records sent, your tuition will need to be up to date. If you are making a payment to the school we are accepting cash or cashier’s check only at this time, or you may make your payment online in FACTS. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Cox at email@example.com.
Summer Program for grades Pre-K and Kindergarten – After much consideration and prayer, SJS has made the decision to NOT host a Summer Program this year. While the safety of our students and staff is our utmost priority, our decision also included low enrollment, the need to hire additional maintenance to ensure proper disinfecting, inability to use the gymnasium and playground and the need to prioritize for the opening of the 2020-2021 school year, which will most likely include the reconfiguration of many classrooms. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we hope you can understand the reason for our decision. If you had already registered your child for the program, you will be issued a refund shortly.
Please know that our focus throughout the summer will be preparing for the re-opening of school in September and ensuring that all necessary procedures and guidelines are carefully thought out and in place to ensure a healthy and successful school year.

Exchange Days – We are excited for the opportunity to see each of you at the upcoming “Exchange Days” or graduation ceremonies that are planned. The Exchange Days for Kindergarten through 6th grade famileis will be set up as follows:
Wednesday 6/17 –
10am-11am – Last names A-C
11am-12pm – Last names D-G
12pm – 1pm – Last names H-L
Thursday 6/18 –
10am-11am – Last names M-P
11am-12pm – Last names Q – Z
*If you are unable to make it to school during your scheduled time, please call to make alternative arrangements. Pre-K families are not required to attend these days and can pick-up and return materials at graduation. You may however visit school if you wish, according to the schedule above if you wish (for things such as the used uniform sale or to purchase a yearbook).
A few things to keep in mind:
- Face masks MUST be worn by all those entering the school.
- Please limit the number of people who attend to include an adult and student(s).
- If there is a family in the classroom when you arrive, please wait in the hallway until they have finished.
- Please maintain proper social distancing at all times.
Reminders of what to bring:
- Please return any Rice Bowls you have at home.
- All Chrome books, laptops and chargers MUST be returned or you will be charged for the devices.
- All textbooks (including Math consumable workbooks and Grammar books) must be returned.
- Please return all Library books
- Yearbooks will be on sale. $25/ea or 2 for $35 (6th graders will each receive a yearbook as a gift from SJS!). Please bring cash (exact change) or a check payable to St. Jude the Apostle School.
Reminders – June 14 Flag Day, June 20 First Day of Summer and June 21 is Father’s Day!
Please remember to register your child/children with the district that you live in. By doing so your child/children will be able to receive their school books and our school will be able to receive state aid.
Summer Fun – School will soon be ending. Please enjoy your summer with you families by bike riding, hiking, treasure hunts, fishing, backyard camping, star gazing, and swimming just to name a few safe ways to enjoy your summer!

2020-21 Registration – Please remember to register for the 2020-21 school year. We are trying to figure out our enrollment. Pre-K and Kindergarten are starting to fill up. When the classrooms are full we will start a waiting list. So please register soon! If you need the website and snap code to register your child/children please contact Mrs. Diehl by emailing her at email@example.com. If you cannot afford the registration fee at this time just check that you will be paying with cash or check to the school. Please just register for now. If you plan on not registering please let us know.
Registration Fees – When registering on line the default amount is $125.00. If you owe more than the $125.00 please mail a check to school with the difference or the entire amount if you choose that option. Once you register all fees will be put into FACTS. The following are the registration fees:
K to 6 $125.00 for one Pre-K $150.00 for one
Family of two or more $200.00
Live Streamed Masses – Welcome to the Easter Season! The Parishes of St Michael the Archangel and St Jude the Apostle are continuing to live stream daily and weekend Masses. Especially during this difficult time, as the whole world is inflicted with the Covid-19 virus, we can come together to pray for healing and peace for all the people of God. Daily Masses are at 8:00 am Monday thru Friday; and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 12:10 pm. Weekend Masses are 4:00 pm Saturday and 10:00 am Sunday. These Masses can be viewed at either parish Facebook page. From the Nurse – Please contact the school for dates and times to pick up your child’s medications. These meds cannot be held at school over the summer, therefore, any medication left in the nurse’s office will be properly disposed of. If you are in need of new medication permission forms and other forms for the 20/21 school year, they are available.

School and Parish Office Hours – 10AM to 12PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you need to stop by please call ahead of time so that we can be by the front door. We will be running errands and moving around in the school so please call before you come. The Parish office is closed until further notice. DATE CHANGE -Save the Date – Our “Annual Community Service Awards Dinner” will be held at the Franklin Terrace on October 15, 2020 at 5:30PM. This year’s recipients for the Awards are Mr.& Mrs. John Dalmata. The recipients for the Father James E Clark award are Joe Kruczlnicki and Kristine Hoffay. There is a silent auction, live auction and cash bar. All proceeds from this event go toward supporting the School Tuition Assistance Program and Catholic Education Fund. RSVP by September 1, 2020.
