The school facilities will be closed for the rest of the school year. St. Jude will continue to provide distance learning for the remainder of the year.  You will receive updates if anything changes. 2020-21 Registration – Please remember to register for the 2020-21 school year. We are trying to figure out the number of children we will have in each classroom. Pre-K and Kindergarten are starting to fill up. When the classrooms are full we will start a waiting list. So please register soon! If you need the website and snap code to register your child/children please contact Mrs. Diehl by emailing her at

Bus Transportation Forms-Important! – The date for submission of your child’s/children’s transportation forms has been extended to May 9, 2020. Please make sure you submit the form even if you do not plan on using the transportation. Please mail the form to your districtDO NOT mail or email it to school. This form is also used to track the district you are in so that we can order your child’s/children’s books for the 2020-21 school year. Some districts do not provide transportation but your district will still provide books. Wynantskill Union Free School District does not provide a form; you need to call them to see when they would be available to submit your request. (518-283-4600)

 Live Streamed Masses – Welcome to the Easter Season! The Parishes of St Michael the Archangel and St Jude the Apostle are continuing to live stream daily and weekend Masses. Especially during this difficult time, as the whole world is inflicted with the Covid-19 virus, we can come together to pray for healing and peace for all the people of God. Daily Masses are at 8:00 am Monday thru Friday; and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 12:10 pm. Weekend Masses are 4:00 pm Saturday and 10:00 am Sunday. These Masses can be viewed at either parish Facebook page. Click on the Parish Facebook link, or enter the Church Name and Location and Facebook into the search bar of your Facebook page or any web browser: St Jude Wynantskill Facebook St Michael the Archangel Troy Facebook Come worship with us!

From the Nurses Desk – If your child is in need of the medication located in the nurse’s office at school; Please contact the school between the hours of 10am – 12pm on Mon, Wed, & Friday to set up a time when I can meet you at the school for pick up. Please remember to follow the CDC and NYSDOH guidelines being put out daily.

School and Parish Office Hours – 10AM to 12PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you need to stop by please call ahead of time so that we can be by the front door. We will be running errands and moving around in the school so please call before you come. The Parish office is closed until further notice. You can contact Karla Jones or Patti Mugrace at .

Schooling at Home-We hope and pray that everyone is doing well-If you have any questions or concerns in regards to your children’s schooling please contact their teacher. Mr. Chaucer is also available if you are having difficulty with the technology part of their schooling. Mrs. Cox, our principal, can be reached at  with any other questions you may have Mrs. Hoffay and Mrs. Diehl will be around as well. or  Please know that we are here for you and your family through this difficult time. Mighty Kicks – Mighty Kicks spring session will begin on Monday, April 20th for grades Pre-K through 3rd grade. Canceled until we return to school.

Colonie Center School Bucks – Update – Send your receipts to school and we will bring them to Colonie Center for you. Place them in a labeled envelope if you would like them returned. We are still in 11th place. Let’s move up in the current rankings! We need your receipts please!

Spirit Monkey Key Chains are still available – Look for your birthday spirit stick in the mail!

Ongoing School Fundraisers

Hannaford Helps Schools – Do you shop at Hannaford? If you do, look for the shelf tags on more than 1,500 participating products to earn money for our school. At check out if you receive any school dollars deposit them in our collection tower in the store. Easy!

School Store – No one has won the golden ticket worth $100.00 yet! Could it be you! Information about our school store has gone home. If you did not get one just let us know. Your children will be eligible for prizes if you participate!

DATE CHANGE -Save the Date – Our “Annual Community Service Awards Dinner” will be held at the Franklin Terrace on October 15, 2020 at 5:30PM. This year’s recipients for the Awards are Mr.& Mrs. John Dalmata. The recipients for the Father James E Clark award are Joe Kruczlnicki and Kristine Hoffay. There is a silent auction, live auction and cash bar. All proceeds from this event go toward supporting the School Tuition Assistance Program and Catholic Education Fund.  RSVP by September 1, 2020.
