Live Streamed Masses – Fr. Anthony Ligato Pastor of St. Jude the Apostle Church Wynantskill and St. Michael the Archangel Troy will concelebrate Mass with Fr. Zach Chichester which will be live streamed on the St. Jude the Apostle Church Facebook page every Sunday morning at 10AM and for the 8AM Mass during the week. Please share this information with others. Beacon of Hope/FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment – For Grades 1-12 – The information was sent home in regards to these scholarships. Beacon of Hope Scholarships must be turned in by April 1st. No exceptions. When you complete the online financial aid application through FACTS you could be eligible for Lally or St. Jude financial aid. In order to receive either one you need to fill out the online application through FACTS by April 15th – No exceptions
From the Nurses Desk – If your child is in need of the medication located in the nurse’s office at school; Please contact the school between the hours of 10am – 12pm on Mon, Wed, & Friday to set up a time when I can meet you at the school for pick up. Please remember to follow the CDC and NYSDOH guidelines being put out daily. “The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life.” Psalm 121:7

School and Parish Office Hours – We will be open 10AM to 12PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you need to stop by please call ahead of time so that we can be by the front door. We will be running errands and moving around in the school so please call before you come. The Parish office is closed until further notice. Schooling at Home-We hope and pray that everyone is doing well-If you have any questions or concerns in regards to your children’s schooling please contact their teacher. CRS Rice Bowls During Lent – Please send your Rice Bowls back to school when school resumes. Send in the container with either the cash or if you and your child/children would like to count the money and send in a check made out to St. Jude the Apostle School that would be fine too. Just place the check into the container and send it back to school. Any child who sends the Rice Bowl back to school with a donation will have a dress down day. Please make sure their name is on the container for this credit. Thank you for helping us with global hunger.
Mighty Kicks – Mighty Kicks spring session will begin on Monday, April 20th for grades Pre-K through 3rd grade.
Bus Transportation Forms – Bus transportation forms were sent home to grades K-6. If you plan on registering with us for the 2020-21 school year in grades K-6 but did not receive one please let the front office know. You will need to register with the school district that you belong to in order for your child to receive bus transportation and school textbooks. Please have everything completed no later than April 1.

Thank you to all who have helped sell tickets for this raffle. Kindergarten has won the competition with 376 tickets sold! Congratulations Kindergarten!
Helping Hands – We are still in need of some helping hands during our lunch times. Do you have time to come at 11:30AM and stay till 12:30PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays to help the children during their lunch time? If you need service commitment hours, this counts!
Colonie Center School Bucks – Update – Send your receipts to school and we will bring them to Colonie Center for you. Place them in a labeled envelope if you would like them returned. We are still in 11th place. Let’s move up in the current rankings! We need your receipts please!

Spirit Monkey Key Chains are still available – If you are still interested in purchasing a Spirit Monkey Key Chain for your child/children please send the order form with $5.00 for each key chain in as soon as possible. We will be selling some fun spirit sticks for the key chains during lunch periods on Fridays, for $1.00 each.

DATE CHANGE -Save the Date – Our “Annual Community Service Awards Dinner” will be held at the Franklin Terrace on May 7th, 2020 at 5:30PM. This year’s recipients for the Awards are Mr.& Mrs. John Dalmata. The recipients for the Father James E Clark award are Joe Kruczlnicki and Kristine Hoffay. There is a silent auction, live auction and cash bar. All proceeds from this event go toward supporting the School Tuition Assistance Program and Catholic Education Fund.
