News Notes – September 22, 2018

St. Jude CYO Basketball Registration – Registration will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 6:00-7:30PM in St. Jude School front hallway. The program is open to all boys and girls in grades 1-8. Registration is $60.00 per player; maximum $90.00 per family. After October 4^th late registration fee will be $70.00 per player. Fall School Pictures – Friday, September 28 ^th.  Lifetouch will once again be our picture photographer. All students will be photographed on this day for a year book photo. Dress uniform is required for all students in grades K-6. Pre-K students should also be in uniform.

From the Nurse’s Desk – Please remember to have all your medical information in to Mrs. DeBell as soon as possible. We will need physicals from grades K, 1, 3, 5 and any new students.

St. Jude Catholic Community International Food Festival – Join us on Saturday, September 29^th for a fun filled day. There will be children’s games, food from around the world, entertainment, raffles and much more. They are looking for volunteers to help with this event. If you need an hour or two to fill your 15 hour service commitment please call the Parish office 283-1162 or sign- up on the board in the school lobby.

Save the Date-Wing War -Saturday, November 3^rd, 2018. Need service commitment hours? This is one of our big events and we need many hands to make it a success. Earn hours and have fun at the same time! Spread the word!

PCA Easy Fundraisers:

Five Below – When shopping for the holidays at Five Below on the following days our school will earn a percentage of the sales. Remember to let them know you are there to support St. Jude the Apostle School! Thanksgiving Day-11/22, Black Friday-11/23 and Saturday-11/24.

Box Tops – We are still collecting Box Tops!

Colonie Center School Bucks – If you purchase anything in Colonie Center please remember to  submit your receipts or send them to school and we will submit them for you. We could earn up to $10,000.00!
