Major Announcement from Bishop Edward Scharfenberger
Bishop Edward Scharfenberger has announced that the diocese will be holding a major event this fall: The Hearts Aflame Eucharistic Congress. Hearts Aflame will be held on Saturday, September 22, at the Shrine of the North American Martyrs in Auriesville. It is for all Catholics to gather in prayer with our bishop, centered on Jesus in the Eucharist. It will be a time of prayer, fellowship, and unity. “This will be a spiritual event, hallowed in part by the very ground on which it is held. My hope is that the Holy Spirit will make this a powerful time of spiritual renewal for our entire diocese!” ~ Bishop Ed
