Candy Bar Bingo – Tonight, Friday, 10/18 at 6:30PM – Dammann Hall (school gym)-Admission to play is one regular size candy bar per person. Additional cards will be sold for $1.00 each. Small snacks and beverages will be for sale, but feel free to bring your own. When you win, you pick a candy prize!
“Coats for Kids” Breakfast Drive – This Sunday, 10/20 from 8 to 11AM – Dammann Hall (school gym) – Bring any clean, gently worn adult or child’s coat to donate and be entered in a drawing to win a $25.00 gift card. The more coats you donate, the greater your chance to win! Kids 5 and under are FREE, adults $8.00, kids under 12 $4.00.
Pink for Breast Cancer – In honor of our faculty and staff that have fought breast cancer we will be having a dress in pink day on Friday, October 25th for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A cash donation of at least $1.00 will allow your child to dress out of uniform for the day. All donations will be given to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Save Around Book – Each family should have received a Save Around Book. This is a sample for you to look at. You may purchase the book, sell the book or return the book. If you return the book please place it back in the envelope so we know who returned them and you will not be charged in FACTS. These books make great gifts! Start your Christmas shopping now! All orders and books need to be returned no later than Friday, 11/8/19.
A gift for Life – Each classroom was given a baby bottle to fill with currency and coins. The money will be donated to Community Maternity Services in Albany to offer a helping hand to woman and their babies. The bottles will be collected on Monday, October 28th. Thank you and God Bless.
PCA Candy Bar Fundraiser – On 9/25 each family should have received a box of candy bars to sell. Each family was charged $60.00 on FACTS under incidentals that is due by 10/31/19. Pay for the first box and we will send you another box if you request one.
October School Service Project – This month we will be collecting items for the St. Joseph Church Food Pantry in South Troy. We will be collecting the following items until 10/31. Thank you!

Knights of Columbus (KOC) – The St Jude the Apostle Knights of Columbus has teamed up with 6 Center Redemption Center located at 461 Main Street in Wynantskill to accept qualifying bottle and can donations to support local charities and those in need.
Simply bring your clean, qualifying empties to 6 Center Redemption in Wynantskill and say they are to support the St Jude Knights of Columbus. They’ll do the rest! That’s it!

Wing War 16 – Come help make Wing War 16 the best event yet! Event co-chairs Marissa Dalmata, Kara Schneible, and Paul Moore want YOU to help make this event a huge success. Come have fun and help raise money for St. Jude the Apostle School Tuition Assistance Program. PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers who sign up to be Team Leaders will need to meet with the event Co-Chairs on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:30 p.m. at Juniors on Route 4 for a Pre-Event meeting. St. Jude Catholic Community Craft Fair – Saturday, 11/9/19 – 9AM to 3PM – Come visit over 50 vendors, have some food and pictures with Santa. Christmas is around the corner!
Thanksgiving Luncheon – Save the date – Tuesday, 11/26/19 – We will be sending home information soon! We will be looking for volunteers as runners, servers, cleanup crew and to make desserts (peanut/tree nut free). If you need service commitment hours this is a great way to earn them!
Spirit Monkey Key Chains are still available – If you are still interested in purchasing a Spirit Monkey Key Chain for your child/children please send the order form with $5.00 for each key chain in as soon as possible. We will be selling some fun spirit sticks for the key chains during lunch periods on Fridays, for $1.00 each.

School Store – Hannaford Helps Schools – Do you shop at Hannaford? If you do, look for the shelf tags on more than 1,500 participating products to earn money for our school. At check out if you receive any school dollars deposit them in our collection tower in the store. Easy!
Colonie Center School Bucks – We came in 9th place this year. Let’s work on climbing up the ladder for this year. When shopping at Colonie Center for your school items please remember to save your receipts! For the rest of October shop at H & M, Cheesecake Factory and PF Change and we will receive DOUBLE points. Shop at Express, Footlocker, Glennpeter, LLBean and Mr. Subb and we will receive TRIPLE points! Christmas is around the corner, so if you are shopping at Colonie Center please remember to turn in your receipts! Send them to school if you need to. Thank you!
