St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Community International Food Festival & Craft Fair –Tomorrow, Saturday, 9/28-11AM to 7PM.Come enjoy food from around the Globe!
Mexican, Polish, Chinese, German, Irish, Italian, Greek, American and more!! Plus fried dough, desserts, ice cream, fruit drinks, beer & wine! Flu clinic, Children’s games & entertainment!! MR TWISTY 1 – 3 & Uncharted Wild- 2 – 4. Come see our Haunted House!!! Enjoy all of this with family and friends!
PCA Candy Bar Fundraiser – On 9/25 each family should have received a box of candy bars to sell. If you did not make it to our Back to School Night on 9/25 you may pick up your box of candy at school or we can send it home with your child. Each family was charged $60.00 on FACTS under incidentals that is due by 10/31/19. Pay for the first box and we will send you another box if you request one.
St. Jude the Apostle Student & Parent Handbook – Please remember to read and go over the handbook with your child/children. The last page of the handbook needs to be signed and returned no later than Monday, 9/30/19.
Water Bottles – Please do not send soda, juice, Gatorade or anything else other than water in your child’s/children’s water bottles. Thank you!
Keller’s Heart-Written by John Gray – illustrated by Shanna Brickell – Information was sent home with each child. If you are interested in purchasing the book please return the form no later than Tuesday, 10/1. There will be no exceptions due to the fact we have to place the order by then so the books will arrive in time for John Gray’s arrival on 10/24. Your purchase will be added to your FACTS account under the “incidentals” tab and must be paid for prior to October 24th.
Health, Wellness & Safety Festival @ Gardner-Dickinson School – Thursday, 10/3, 4:30-6:30PM. See, hear and learn from North Greenbush Police, Search and Rescue Dogs, Rensselaer County Sheriff-child safe program and much more. Admission is free!
Wing War 16 – Come help make Wing War 16 the best event yet! Event co-chairs Marissa Dalmata, Kara Schneible, and Paul Moore want YOU to help make this event a huge success. Come have fun and help raise money for St. Jude the Apostle School Tuition Assistance Program. PLEASE NOTE: Volunteers who sign up to be Team Leaders will need to meet with the event Co-Chairs on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:30 p.m. at Juniors on Route 4 for a Pre-Event meeting. Questions please contact Kara at [email protected]. Go to Wing War 16 to sign up for some service commitment hours and have fun doing it!
Spirit Monkey Key Chains are still available – If you are still interested in purchasing a Spirit Monkey Key Chain for your child/children please send the order form with $5.00 for each key chain in as soon as possible. We will be selling some fun spirit sticks for the key chains during lunch periods on Fridays, for $1.00 each.
As always we have our running fundraisers! So please continue to keep us in mind!
St. Michael the Archangel Church October Raffle – The raffle includes a dollhouse, all furnishings, foods and accessories such as dollhouse people and the table it sits on. The dollhouse is electrified and includes a landscaped yard. Raffle tickets are $10.00 each and may be purchased by emailing dollhouseraffle@gmail .com.
Hannaford Helps Schools – Do you shop at Hannaford? If you do, look for the shelf tags on more than 1,500 participating products to earn money for our school. At check out if you receive any school dollars deposit them in our collection tower in the store. Easy!
Colonie Center School Bucks – We came in 9th place this year. Let’s work on climbing up the ladder for this year. School Bucks has started up again in August for this year. When shopping at Colonie Center for your school items please remember to save your receipts!
